We specialize in the manufacturing & supply of transparent fire rated screens to the construction & building industries, as well as private developments since 2012.
At We design, manufacture, supply, install and certify our own unique transparent fire rated screens.
At FSA, we deliver a turnkey package with our unique transparent fire rated screens. We put our client’s mind at ease, as we do start at design phase and end with certification after a successful installation.
FSA delivers this service to the building & construction industries as well as private developments.
Within the legal parameters, FSA always find a suitable design to suit our client’s needs.
A transparent fire rated screen, is a structural framework, manufactured from steel profiles and glazed with special fire rated Pyran “S” see-through glass & special fire rated consumables. All of these components together, creates a unique transparent fire rated screen that is tested and certified in South Africa.
These screens will physically prevent fire from spreading from one point to another, for 60, 90 or 120 minutes, depending on the set requirement.
Fire rated screens as specified could be windows, doors, shopfronts or facades.
It can be used for both internal or external applications.
Depending on the screen size, necessary legal requirements and aesthetics, a proper design will be done to satisfy our client’s requirements.
It conforms to applicable standards & legislation, as set out by the South African Bureau of Standards, (SABS).
